Intaglio

Etching, drypoint, and mezzotint are becoming more central to my printmaking practice.  My series of photo etchings for the show at the Main Street Gallery in Groton, NY represent my most recent intaglio prints.

I have only done a couple of mezzotints, with the help from my undergraduate professor Peter Jogo, who now teaches with us at The Ink Shop.  As a master printmaker, I am indebted to him for inspiring me to go into printmaking to begin with, and for teaching me the craft of mezzotint.
